Mario Ciacomelli: The Black is waiting for the White

"Giacomelli continued to interpret poetic work by creating photographic series for the remainder of his life. In additional to providing the singular images from his various series, this book provides an overview of each of his series in a compilation of thumb nails, which are sequenced chronologically. It should also be noted that Giacomelli felt that there was a specific sequence for the photographs of a series in which for them to exhibited or displayed."

I want to start by saying that name of the book is brilliant! BUT, I would have used other colour or other shade of grey, a darker one. because that part where the text is, is grey-ish so you can't really understand exactly what's there. Good image for a cover, quite tricky!

Images on both sides, especially on the right, small text on the left.

This one here it's like a photo collage. looks good actually.

This one is like a 2 pages spread photo.I would do that for my book for sure with my photos on landscape.

The think  that I like most of the book is the image on the left above. Even if it's a landscape, it's arranged in the page so that it looks like a portrait and it does the job good because it works.

I like the book, not really a fan of his work but I do like his book and they way the images are presented. gonna ''steal'' some ideas for sure :)
