Research

So I did draw my own design but I feel like something is missing so I am gonna do some research on other photographers's websites, especially fashion photographers.

1. Bottlebellphotography - No

The first website that I ran into is called Bottlebellphotography.

one of the things that I like ab this website is exactly the beginning. when you click on the website link, there is a song playing, there are some words popping up that describe her work and then the menu appears. I like that, I would like to have a song on my website but I will think ab it. The rest of the website is ok, it looks good but it's perfect for her work because she is a fine art photographer.The menu would be confusing for me so I wouldn't use that for my website.

2. Danielkennedy  - Yes

The second one is quite good and it suits my style. I don't like thought the first page (the one above). It's quite boring and it doesn't tell you what's gonna follow and the next bits are very interesting. Plus I believe the text is small.

Like I said the next bits are very interesting.His name is on the left corner of the page which is fine. This time the size of the text is good as it's the same as the size of the menu. The menu is very simple and straight forward which I love because I don't have to click 10 things till I see a photo.His gallery is like a slideshow which I already wanted to use for my website:you can either click on the images at the bottom or on the image itself to go to the next one. Simple to navigate, a plus for him!!!! 

3. Jasonbellphoto - Yes

Jason Bell...hmm.. again another simple to navigate website. I guess that's one of the good ideas to keep viewers connected. When you enter his page there's the menu on the left and on the right the series of photos. Easy to navigate, very good photos. Also, because he has got landscapes as well, he used like a landscape frame and when he has portraits, the image will go on the right, on half of the frame which is nice. He also wrote the name of the people he photographed which is again very good in my opinion. 

4. Rankin - Yes

I could not miss Rankin's website one of my favourites. His website is quite hard to talk about because he's got so many thins on his website. He's got lots of projects. 

There is a menu at the top of the website and when you click on each category there is a sub menu where you can choose whatever you want to look at. I must say that he's got a lot of work on his website and sometimes I feel that it is quite busy. When you click on Portfolio and select a category all the images are shown as thumbnails and then you can select one to see it bigger which is nice. I like his website but I wouldn't design my website this way because I feel that it's too much. I think I will keep it simple. But it's a yes for me!!

5. Lara Jade - Yes

I just discovered Lara Jade and I can say that her work is so good. I was really impressed. Her website is very nice and easy to look at. On the left there's a menu with 3 books, probably her portfolio and then other categories. Then, on the right there is like a collage of her images for the first 3 books and then each image on it's own and you can scroll down to see the rest of the images. I love it! I am inspired because she's so young and beautiful and she's got style and her work is so good. Wow!!!
